I Had 1254 points saved up on my account (worth about $62 off an order) and was going to use them to get some fabric but when I logged in it was only 16. After 45 minutes on hold (which is a recorded voice saying "thanks for waiting please hold" over and over...) Customer service told me their new system was randomly allocating points to people and their version of fixing it was to zero out people's accounts. When I told them I had been buying there for several years and never used my points yet so I was not one of the "free points" people, he said there was no record of any purchases in their new system and they would not give me my points back. This on top of about 1/3 of every order being sent the wrong fabrics, means I'll never be shopping there again, and if you want your products to arrive on time and be the correct item, I recommend you don't either.

I received 2 previous orders from Mood in a timely manner and was very satisfied. This last time, I placed an order 6 days ago and it says, "processing". I tired to call, but the line hung up. Called 3 more times, finally got on hold and after 5 minutes an automated voice said they would call back, but I never received a call.
I placed an order September 6 and after receiving confirmation that my order was received -NOTHING. I chalked it up to COVID-19 delays...10 days later....and I never received a shipping confirmation. My account on Mood said tracking information was “not available.“ I finally contacted customer service and what’d ya know my package would arrive in two days. Indeed it did - with two separate cuts of 3+ yards literally thrown in the box, wrinkled and damaged (small holes in each cut)...customer service was a lot of time consuming back and forth and totally unsatisfactory. They provided no explanation and in the end they expect you to eat the cost of their mistakes. One of the cuts - supposedly ‘Italian Matte Jersey’ was a wrinkled, hot mess and looked like it had been pulled from a bargain bin in some warehouse. There are far too many fabric vendors online to waste your time with this one. They are good at branding- the website screams luxury but, they clearly have no expertise in fabric care or customer service.
I ordered my two orders on September 5, 2020 TWO WEEKS AGO. I have still not received either package and the status of both still says "processing." I've received at least three emails saying that they oversold a fabric and will have to send me less of a fabric than I ordered. Okay. Fine. But the emails also promised that they'd then ship the orders out the next day once once I replied to the email. I replied to all of the emails. Neither of my packages have shipped. I've called customer service (within service hours!) SEVEN times and no matter which option I press, the customer service line hangs up on me, I REALLY need this fabric and I'm severely disappointed in their professionalism, promise times, and customer service. I do not recommend ordering from Mood Fabrics and at this point I'm considering filing a dispute for fraud.
Love their fabric. And I usually receive my order within a few days.
The only problem I've had is with their coupons. They've sent me a few discount coupons but none of the codes work. Slightly annoying, but not a big deal especially since I prefer buy mark-downs and thus already get a discount.
I've been to Mood Fabrics in NYC many times, as I sew all the time and their incredible in NYC. I purchased fabric from Mood online March 14th, package came Match 19th. I was so excited to open the package and start sewing. What I found was very badly damaged fabric...called and talked with Michael and sent photos of the damaged fabric within an hour he received the photo of the damaged fabric. Michael said, I would receive a Full Refund of $29.70. It took until June 20th to receive my refund.... After 24 emails and many calls to Mood...Helen from Mood Fabric gave me a credit of $20.97....saying I had to pay for shipping and handling and for the $1.71 zipper and can't use. End of story.....Mood would not give me my Full refund as I was promised. Not happy with the time from March to June trying to deal with this.....I haven't heard back from Helen since she gave me the $20.97 refund.
Sad, I thought Mood would be better then this in handling with the fact they send damaged fabric and the fact I was told by Michael on the phone and emails I would receive full refund. Guess they were just waiting to see if the problem would go away. Very unhappy customer! It isn't the $8.73, but the fact
I was told I would receive a Full Refund and receiving less and the reason is I have the zipper I can't use and the shipping and handling I needed to pay for because I have the zipper. Would have been happy to send back the zipper....but was told I didn't have to by Michael on the phone. Shame on you Mood Fabric.
